The Japanese manga 'Doraemon' is very famous. Its author, Fujiko F. Fujio, created another series called '21 Emon', which is less well-known, but equally interesting. Set in the futuristic world, the series follows a boy called '21 Emon', heir to a time-honored hotel business. But his own dream is to become an astronaut. One day, he happens to meet an alien creature called 'Monga' (a cute alien, not the 'Alien' alien). 

Monga is said to have a remarkable IQ. It can teleport things, but only over a few meters. And it only speaks a sentence once a week. Funny stories revolve around Monga, 21 Emon and his family.
