It's sad to learn that Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, better known as 'Big S', has died at the age of 48 from flu-triggered pneumonia, during a family holiday in Japan.

Barbie was best remembered for her lead role in the iconic 2001 TV drama 'Meteor Garden'. I'm not actually a fan of hers. But it's always shocked to learn someone familiar has passed away, as if a piece of your own world has gone forever.

Life is long, but life is short. Cherish every minute. Because you never know what will happen in the next minute.
